Marty Bates is a failure in life, but a genius in his own mind. An ambitious young filmmaker in pursuit of making it big in show business, Marty attempts to submit his film into a high school film festival. When Mr. Williams, the Media Arts teacher hosting the festival, isn't interested in Marty or his film, Marty dangerously escalates the situation.
